Bugs, Reptiles, Snakes,and More...

I love hunting for bugs.  I wake up every morning, jump out of bed, grab my bug trap, and go outside to hunt for bugs.  I also love making homemade traps to see what I can catch...hopper bugs, June bugs, spiders, moths, and other types of bugs.  Mommy knows how adventurous I am, so she took me to the Reptile Zoo to see all the reptiles.  I got to hold a Bearded Dragon, a Python Snake, and a Crested Gecko.  They were all friendly animals and they felt squishy.  I told Mommy I wanted a Bearded Dragon as my pet, but Mommy says I need to be a little older to take care of it on my own.  I also got to see all the other reptiles at this zoo.  I even got to feed the turtles their worms and the tortoises their vegetables.  I had a great day and I can't wait until I am older so I can have a pet of my own.

 

 

 

Parker the Piggy Bank

I did the unthinkable....I swallowed a nickel.  Palmer was building a gumball machine with his lego's and I was playing with the nickel.  I put it in my mouth AND accidentally swallowed.  Mommy was out of town when it happened, so she freaked out when she found out.  Luckily my digestive system did it's job and ... well, you know the rest.  As gross as it seems, Mommy said she's going to keep this nickel forever.  She wants to show my kids the dumb things their daddy did when he was younger.  

  

Hitting the Rails

Today we went to the OC Empire Rail Museum with Auntie Janelle, Joce, and Grayson.  It was a long drive and took up forever to get there.  However it was a surprise when we arrived as we did not know our cousins were meeting up with us.  We got to check out the grounds and the old trains.  We even got to ride two old steam trains and trolley car.  It was a fun experience overall.

Happy 4th of July

We celebrated 4^th of July at Grandma Lu’s.  We spent the day swimming in the pool.  We barbecued ribs and ate pizza for dinner.  When the sun when down, we lit off our fireworks.  Grandma’s neighborhood is famous for its fireworks.  All her neighbors gather in the streets and light off the most amazing fireworks.   It is like I am at a professional show.  I love lighting fireworks even though mommy gets nervous when I do it by myself.  My brother is not too comfortable lighting them either, but he enjoyed himself this year.  4^th of July is probably my 2^nd favorite holiday after Christmas and I cannot wait until next year.
