Merry Christmas 2012

Merry Christmas!  I had a wonderful Christmas spending time with my family.  We spent Christmas Eve visiting with Grandma Lu and having dinner.  She bought me a new buggy.  It replaces my old buggy as that one broke.  We stopped by and saw Grandma Carmen.  We went to visit with Grandpa John and the rest of our family at Mom & Pop's house.  I got more presents - finally my own dump trucks and cement mixer.  Now I don't have have to share with my brother.  Grandpa John also gave us a vacation trip to Palm Desert.  I can't wait to go on my first vacation!  That night, Daddy put out cookies and carrots for Santa Claus and his reindeer.  On Christmas morning, we went to see what Santa brought us.  He left behind his cookies crumbs.  Santa brought me some numbers and letters for our bath tub.  My brother gave me truck book and Mommy and Daddy gave me play cell phone so I can leave theirs alone.  The toys were great, but I loved playing with the boxes and wrapping paper the most.  My stocking was filled with yummy treats too.  We spent all of Christmas Day with Daddy's side of the family at Grandma Katy's and Grandpa Al's house.  I got so many presents - lots of new toys, a Chargers' Jersey, and money for my college fund.  I love all my presents and I am a very blessed little boy.  I really like this 'Christmas' thing. 

Holiday Traditions

One holiday tradition that was started when my brother was born was to drive around and look at Christmas lights throughout the holiday season.  This years was my first year to participate.  We go look at lights every couple of days.  I love looking at Christmas lights and I can't wait to see even more displays next year.

Visit with Santa

This year Mommy and Daddy took us to go see Santa.  I'm not sure how I feel about the 'big guy'.  Mrs Claus held me as well and I started to cry.  Maybe I'll be happier to see them next year.  At least it was fun looking at all the holiday decorations in Santa's Workshop.  It was a very fun (and COLD) night.

My 1st Thanksgiving

We celebrated my 1st Thanksgiving with Daddy's family in San Diego.  We went to Uncle Donnie and Auntie Laura's house and all our family was there.  It was a long drive, a lot of traffic, so we were so glad to finally get there.  We had a great time visiting with our family.  I slept through dinner, but Mommy tells me the food was delicious.  I can't wait until next year when I can eat some yummy food too.

Happy Halloween

Today was my first halloween.  I handed out candy with Daddy, while Mommy and Palmer went trick or treating.  Maybe next year, I will get to trick or treat too.  As you can see, Mommy had a little too much fun dressing me up.

My 6 Month Photo Shoot

1st Tooth

I finally have my first tooth. It really hurt and I still put everything in my mouth, but I am so glad I have cut my first tooth. I can't wait for a mouthful so I can eat yummy food.   

6 Months Have Flown By...

My first 6 months of life have just flown by. My first 2 months were a little bit of a challenge for everyone because I just could not get comfortable. I finally found my happy place and I have been doing great. I love to scream (as in talking, not crying), I love to talk (only mommy understands me), I love playing with my toys (especially ones I can reach out, grab, and bring to my mouth), I love playing in my exersaucer, I love being pushed outside in my car (I can even steer), I love swimming in the pool and taking baths, and I love books (particularly eating them). I can roll over, I can scoot backwards (mommy thinks I'll be crawling soon), I can sit up by myself, and I like tummy time. I eat food now (we've really just started with rice cereal though), I sleep in my crib (unless mommy is too exhausted to get it with me all night, then she lets me snuggle with her in bed), and I can push all the buttons on my toys to turn the music on and off. I'm a man on a mission and I like to be up and about, exploring my surroundings. Mommy thinks I am advanced for my age. It is probably because I have my big brother Palmer as my example. Overall, I'm just very happy and I am enjoying life. I can't wait for the next 6 months of my life.

Happy Birthday Parker! I'm 6 Months Old!

I turned 6 months old today and we had a mini celebration at Grandma Lu's house. It was really hot outside, so we went swimming and had a bbq. I love swimming, so I was happy to celebrate my birthday poolside.

My First Time Eating - Yum!

Mommy has been letting me nibble on some cantaloupe over the last few weeks, but today was my official first meal. Mommy gave me rice cereal and I think I liked it. It was very different, but sweet, so I ate it up. Mommy is very excited to introduce a bunch of yummy and healthy fruits and vegetables into my diet. I can't wait to try everything. I think I am going to enjoy this 'eating' thing.

Sitting Solo

I can sit up all by myself now. Although I'm not perfect just yet, I do a decent job keeping myself up. Check me out...

Swim Time

I'm trying to stay cool as we have had very hot weather. We've been swimming a lot in our (cool) spa and in grandma's pool. I love the water...it's very relaxing to me. I love summer.

I'm 4 Months Old

I'm 4 months old now. Mommy is sad that time is flying by too quickly. I have grown so much since I've been born. I'm almost 19lbs and 26 1/2 inches tall. I wear size 6 - 9 month clothes. I smile and laugh all the time. I talk all day long. I can almost roll over - brother is showing me the ropes on this one. I've come so far since my colic days as a newborn. I am teething now, but Dr Mike says I probably won't cut a tooth for at least another month or so. I can't seem too keep my fingers out of my mouth. In fact, I grab for anything to put in my mouth. I still like to nap several times during the day, but I stay awake much longer as I am more alert now. I love watching TV and looking at all the bright colors. Mommy will be going back to work in about a month, so I am enjoying every last minute while I can have her with me all day long. I'm going to miss her, but I think she's going to miss me more. I know I'll be having fun with Yolanda and my brother while Mommy and Daddy are at work. Oh boy, I can't wait to see what the next few months hold for me....

My 1st Visit to the Beach

Today was my first visit to the beach - Newport Beach. We visited daddy's surf spot. We've driven past the beach and ocean several times, but this was the first time we stopped and I was able to put my toes in the sand. It was so nice, now I know why my daddy and brother love the beach. I can't wait to get in the water and catch some waves with my daddy and brother.

Happy 4th of July 2012

Today was my first 4th of July. We spent the day at Grandma's house with my entire family. My brother and my dad went swimming with my cousins. I had a relaxed day napping and enjoying the company. When it came time for fireworks, I was too tired to stay up. Maybe next year, I'll stay up to see the fireworks with the rest of the family.

My 1st Swim

I went for my first swim today with Mommy, Daddy, and Brother. It was a warm day so we decided to lounge in our spa. I love the water, so I had a great time.
