Merry Christmas

This holiday season just flew by...I was still hoping it was Halloween when Christmas rolled around.  We had a wonderful Christmas this year.  We spent Christmas Eve morning with Grandpa John and Suzanne at our house, Christmas Eve afternoon visiting with Mom and Pop, and Christmas Eve night at Grandma Lu's, with Rob, his sons, Auntie Janelle, Uncle Robert, Joce, and Uncle Jon.  We are very spoiled boys because we got a lot of presents.  Santa even went early and delivered a present for us at Grandma Lucille's house.  I got a cement mixer I've been wanting for over 2 years now.  It was a very fun day.

Santa visited our house on Christmas Day and he left us a lot a presents.  We got new wheels for our Mustang and Jeep, as well as another white trash truck we have been wanting.  Mommy and Daddy spoiled us with some decorations we've been wanting.  Our stockings were filled with yummy treats and electric toothbrushes.  We spent the day at Grandpa Al and Grandma Katy's house, along with all of Daddy's family.  It's always so much fun to spend time with our family.  Grandma and Grandpa cooked up a feast and we ate all day long.  We came home with a ton more presents from our family.  The holidays are so much fun, especially Christmas.  Not only do we get to spend time with our family and friends, we get to eat delicious food and treats, and we get spoiled with love and gifts.

A Visit with Santa

Tonight we went to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at their workshop.  There were many decorated displays to enjoy, trains running, hot chocolate, cookie decorating, and dancing elves.  It was a fun night and we got to tell Santa exactly what we want for Christmas.  I hope I stay on the nice list!

It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas....

I absolutely love the holiday season...from Halloween to Christmas.  We got to decorate very early and I help my brother to decorate more each day.  We decorated our Christmas tree, the inside of our house and our outside.  We even baked homemade ornaments.  Mommy and Daddy take us to look at Christmas lights around different neighborhoods.  My favorite is the house with Santa in the window and the house with music.  I've seen it so many times that I know the words now.

Happy Thanksgiving

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday with Mommy's side of the family at Grandma Lu's.  We had a yummy dinner and enjoyed our company.  The best part was getting to decorate for the Christmas the weekend before Thanksgiving and getting a week off of school.  I can't wait for this holiday season.

Happy Halloween

We started off October decorating our house with Halloween decorations.  My brother and I really got excited about bringing out Grandpa Itz and setting up all our decorations.  We started a new tradition this Halloween season, similar to what we do during the holiday season.  Every few nights we drove around various neighborhoods to see all the spooky Halloween decorations.  We saw some scary stuff, but I loved it.  We went trick or treating at our local shopping center the week before Halloween.  It was fun to get all dressed up and walk about in daylight.  That night we carved two pumpkins to help us further decorate our house.  My school had a costume parade on the Friday before Halloween and we even got to go on a pumpkin hunt to find small pumpkins.  Mommy and Daddy came to see me at school.  It was a lot of fun.  That night, we carved a very large pumpkin that our neighbor grew in her backyard.  It was a cool ghost carving.  On Halloween morning, Grandpa John and Suzanne came to visit us and they gave us a bag of treats.  I wanted to eat them all in one day.  On Halloween night, we got to go to Grandma's house where we carved a pumpkin with Joce.  When it got dark, we got into our costumes and went trick or treating around Grandma's neighborhood.  It was nostalgic for Mommy as she trick or treated those same streets when she was a little girl.  We had more fun handing out candy to all the kids who came to Grandma's house to trick or treat.  Grandma made us homemade caramel apples - yum!  We had a great Halloween season and I can't wait until next Halloween.

Civil War

While visiting Tom's Farms Pumpkin Patch today, there was a civil war re-enactment across the street.  Mommy and Auntie were excited so we went to see it.  Mommy says I'll appreciate when I get older and learn about it in school, but I really liked the cannons and guns firing.

A Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

Today we visited a pumpkin patch at Tom's Farms.  Autie and Joce joined us too.  We had a lot of fun riding the train, a tractor, and eating some lunch.  We got to look through the pumpkin patch as well.  We always have fun spending time with our cousin Joce!

Kidseum

Today we visited the Kidseum in Santa Ana.  We were able to play various instruments and dress up in costumes.  We even had our time on the big screen as we traveled through Peru, Ireland, China, England, and Egypt.  It was a fun, hands on museum and we had a blast.
